Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Waitlist info: your name, email address, and phone number, plus a timestamp.
- Technical data: IP address (used only for rate-limiting signups), browser user agent, and basic page analytics.
- Extension data (once installed): the posts visible in your browser viewport are analyzed locally / via our API to produce labels. We do not collect your browsing history, DMs, or credentials.
How we use it
- Hold your waitlist spot and tell you your place in line.
- Send product updates: launch news, feature announcements, and when your access opens — by email or SMS.
- Prevent abuse (duplicate and automated signups).
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We don't send marketing unrelated to Verity, and we don't share your number with third parties for their marketing.
- We don't use the extension to track you around the web.
Retention & your choices
Waitlist data is kept until you ask us to delete it or the list is retired — whichever comes first. Email hello@verity.so at any time to access, correct, or delete your entry. Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out of texts.
Security
Waitlist data lives in Cloudflare's infrastructure under rate-limited, access-gated endpoints. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you by the contact info you provided.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data in a material way, we'll update the date above and notify waitlist members by email or SMS before the change takes effect.
