Terms of Service
1. What Verity is
Verity is an independent research preview: a browser extension that labels signals of inauthentic or machine-generated content on X (formerly Twitter), plus this waitlist site. Joining the waitlist reserves early access; it does not create a paid subscription or guarantee availability.
2. Waitlist
By joining the waitlist you give us your name, email, and phone number so we can hold your spot and message you about product updates — including launch announcements and when your access opens. You can leave the waitlist at any time by replying to any message with STOP or by asking us to remove you.
3. Labels are assessments, not accusations
Verity's scores and labels ("AI-written", "fake engagement", "paid ad", "coordinated") are statistical estimates derived from public signals. They are opinion-style indicators for your own reading — not statements of fact about any person or account. Do not use them to harass, defame, or make hiring, safety, or legal determinations about anyone.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no scraping it at scale, no reselling access, no using labels to target or brigade accounts, and no attempting to reverse-engineer or overload the API. We may remove waitlist entries or revoke access for abuse.
5. No affiliation
Verity is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. "X" and related marks belong to their owners.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" in preview form. We make no warranty that labels are accurate or that the service will launch. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll note the new effective date above and notify waitlist members by email or SMS before the change takes effect.
